ok so here we are again to the hunt so I can see one link from the txt -the briefest flicker of a smile on Wolfgang’s face. that gives u the pic of all the crows i think is may be a for of the dancing man cypher
any one have suggestions and then threes the I can’t find the bugs anywhere, dude.” txt portion that's blue maybe its like the omines clue were we find it in the story ?
that so fucking cool ok so the koda turns to a number pad that gives u the numbest for the crows so u can de code them the picture of the crows is a number u can call to jacks voice mail
You mean actually calling? or there's some way to use the dial pad in the picture? If you have to actually call a number, please can you write down what the voice mail says? I don't think I would be able to call it from my italian phone D:
Ok so, we have differently colored text, the polar bear (koda) that turns into a phone dial pad. If you move the mouse on the pad, a series of picture of crows appears, covering the 7,8,9 and 0 buttons.
The crows are the same that we find in the last link.
Switching the crows with the numbers gives
@Butler i got u my Italian amigo
Grazie amico!
@Butler yeah I wonder what else is left in this puzzle
There must be something related to the different colored part... and maybe to Jerry's number...
maybe
When I try to call the number it says rejected, rude. But it’s from mammoth spring AR, so I google mapped it, but not sure if that’s somehow a clue or not.
Check the roads around the town the "manner" might be in there
I can’t find anythin, but if it’s his number then this would be where the gas station is. Jerry‘s number is 769, which is the area code for Mississippi.
Maybe "I can't find the bugs anywhere, dude" is an anagram?
i don't think its a anagram there's 143 answers if its a anagram
@Danilo v that’s fair.
Maybe the blue bugs sentence is a clue about Claire? Claire was introduced to us in a blue dress with blue eyes amidst all of the eyes/ staring imagery. And if I‘m remembering correctly, most of when Jack heard the krikrikri, saw something skitter away, and “went somewhere else” she was there, staring at him. I’m pretty sure she’s the only noun that’s been tied to the color blue so far... Well, now I have to reread again it to check
Also, Jack mentioned the number Jerry was thinking of was 69 (nice) but also maybe it's part of Jerry's telephone number?
I think if it were up to Jerry all the numbers of his phone (and address and passport) would be a looong series of 69...
I can't help thinking: ok so, if we can conjure through logic somenthing that could resemble Jerry's number... what do we do... call it? what if we end up disturbing some nice old lady or, most likely since is 2020, a serial killer? XD
Aniway... let's see if we can find a way to use the hint we still couldn't place. The phrase and the color blue. And obviously we have to decide if the voicebox message contains an hint other that we sould go "shit ourselves" and mind our own business XD
@Danilo v did you get something?
@Butler honestly no I'm completely lost on the with the phone number and the farce “I can’t find the bugs anywhere, dude.” we thought it was anagram but to many answers and it doesn't fit in any cyphered and the phone number I tried the 69 thing did not work iv tried number substitution like 7 into 6 and 9 into 6 but no dice also jack did comment that he didn't expect us to figure it out so fast and to plz remove the number because of scammers but removed the post his post but yeah I'm still lost
@Danilo v I saw a couple of notifications that referred to messages that got cancelled. ok, so I edited the number out of my answer too, wouldn’t want to cause problems for Jack (more than he has on a daily basis). The only thing that’s blue and related to bugs that I can think of is the “blue screen of death” that a computer gets when a fatal error occurs. That and the eye mites of the previous chapters...
We must not lose hope! (The metaphorical one, not the dead woman). All puzzles have a solution and the howls are not what tey seem...
@Butler Yeah, not sure what happened with the phone number thing, but I would never want to contribute to a situation that’s upsetting anyone.
Also, I LOVE your idea about the blue screen of death and I literally laughed out loud at your Hope comment. Well done 😂
has anyone checked the hex code for the "I can’t find the bugs anywhere, dude" quotes colour?
colour should be #043692, guessing that might be part of Jerrys phone number *IF* that's indeed the next step of action
not gonna mess around with foreign phone numbers myself though lol
I tried 769-6 and 769-7 followed by that color code, no results when calling them
same
If you inspect the pages source the colour is written out as (4, 36, 92) so should probably have skipped out on the 0 there, my bad.
This all I can think of in terms of what the colour could "mean", for all I know I might be completely off haha But since the current direction people seemed to be looking in was for numbers and no one had brought up hex codes yet I thought I'd mention it
Something is bugging me about the phrase from Claire's note and Jerry's bug statement. “We are all going to die here tonight.”
“I can’t find the bugs anywhere, dude.”
They have the same amount of characters. I know the period and quotation marks in the latter aren't blue but... could that be a connection?
(Edit: Also it appears that the blue text is the same color as some of the text that appears as our comments here on the forum. That might just be a color-theme thing though.)
speaking of buggs look what i found in part 5
I'm like 90 percent shurthr racoons weren't suposto get in there
