So, I just finished Book 1, very awesome. My question/s- perhaps it will be answered in later books- who are the owners of the Gas Station? I am mightily confused, are they aware of the abnormal situation, or are they in on it? They appeared to give Jack the heads up about impending doom towards the end of the book. Basically, what is the deal with the owners?
