A really random thought: You know, if you think about it Jack is technically a cyborg. not gonna lie that’s kinda neat.
I'm a bad enough artist that I can't even make stick figures look good, but I have a strong mental image of a two panel comic, (minor bookspoilers) Panel 1 A close up of Jack's face as he is now looking down on a picture with a look of conflicting emotion Panel 2 A close up of the picture of himself and Sabine at the opening of new pages. I can't remember where in the books it is but Sabine is laughing(probably at something dumb I said-Jack) Jack is smiling back and obviously far healthier. Probably going to reread the books at some point soon so i've made a mental note to come back with the full quote in case you actually go for this suggestions. P.s I like your art!
